Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native born on 21st September 1965 in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham), whose parents were James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). She was raised in Tallahassee. She attended West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from University of Central Florida. She studied theater and television production. It wasn't until she relocated from Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd really learned anything regarding comedy. Lisa Kudrow was her first teacher. She also learned how to write and perform comedy sketches. Experience gained from this was instrumental in her preparation to play Larry David's wife in the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Since dialogue is usually improvised in comedies that deal with situations the actress is at home. If she is able, she still performs with her troupe, the Groundlings Theater.
