Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th May, 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back to production. The fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
